The mission of North Midtown Community Development Corporation (NMCDC) is to make the North Midtown community a desirable area in which to live, work, and raise families.

The North Midtown Community Development Corporation (NMCDC) was formed for the purpose of the social and economic revitalization of the North Midtown neighborhood, within the boundaries of Woodrow Wilson to the North, Fortification Street to the South, West Street to the East and Mill Street to the West. By serving as a magnet drawing together the various people, groups, institutions and agencies that are the stakeholders in the community. This corporation will place its prime focus on:

Creation of Jobs
Providing adequate and affordable housing
Reduction of crime and drug traffic
Quality education of young residents
Encouraging neighborhood identity
