In partnership with the City of Jackson’s Development Assistance Division, the CDC has received funding through a grant from the HOME Program, in order to expand the supply of decent, safe, and affordable housing for low-income individuals and to alleviate the problems of excessive rent burdens.
The CDC's housing program attempts to provide energy efficient homes with design flexibility and community acceptance. There are homes available for ownership by qualifying buyers as well as rental properties.
